<reviewbody>A pretty woman sings “I Can’t Give You Anything but Love” (Bay-Be!! You remember how it goes…) and a couple of dorky couples dance in the kind of nightclub floor show they just don’t do today. A charming soundie from the 40s.
Ratings: Camp/Humor Value: ***. Weirdness: ***. Historical Interest: ****. Overall Rating: ***.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Not a bad rendition of this classic song here by an (of course) unknown singer. She performs this ok, with a suspicious "are they? or aren't they?" playing orchestra. Love the 2 dancing couples here. Strictly a below by-the-books soundie here.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>An old standard, and great band. We have to remember, in the 40's this was a state of the art "music video" - no special effects and no head banging or break dancing. It was a simpler time featuring songs with memorable lyrics and a recognizable beat to dance to. Perhaps our tastes have become too sophisticated. This soundie is good, clean entertainment.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Carolyn Marsh brings to her performance touches of Alice Faye in the way she puts this great number over. There's a marked similarity in looks and body language as well, though others may disagree. Ray Bloch's backing is fine as well. Scores my top rating.</reviewbody>
    <reviewtitle>Polished performances in a great Soundie.</reviewtitle>
